About UsWe are a Colour Management Consultancy whose Mission is simply: "To help our clients achieve the very best quality of colour reproduction".Our clients include advertising agencies, publishers, designers, photographic retouchers, prepress houses and printers. Our services comprise: Colour Management Consultancy; ICC Profile creation; Training for Graphic Arts Professionals; Scanner Colour Optimisation (especially for Crosfield and Fuji scanners) The proprietor and Principal Consultant is Phil Cruse. Phil spent seventeen years at the leading scanner manufacturer Crosfield Electronics, where he was one of the senior Application Consultants in the International Head Office. This saw him helping Crosfield's most demanding customers world-wide.Before joining Crosfield in 1980, he spent many years in the prepress industry. He studied Colour and Graphic Reproduction at the London College of Printing (now The London College of Communication) and the Southampton College of Art & Printing. Phil takes a keen interest in ISO (International Standards Organisation) 12647 and other printing standards and is on a U.K. Technical Advisory Group. He formed Graphic Quality Consultancy in 1997. Initially the core business was with users of Crosfield and later Fujifilm scanners. We have helped many of these clients transition to the newer ICC Colour Management technology. Today scanning represents only a small percentage of business. A lot of business comes from clients who need to produce images which will be printed to ISO standard, or who's "colour needs a tune-up". This usually involves both hard and soft proofing, and setting up Photoshop to the latest industry standards. Our clients are mostly in the UK, USA and Europe. Visit our contact page.
